REGISTRATION OF MATRIMONIAL PROPERTY
The amended Law on the Procedure of Registration in the Real Estate Cadastre and Utilities that regulates the procedure of registering matrimonial property applicable both to the cases to come and the ones with already registered property right, has come to effect. On the basis of the statements made by both spouses, the real estate which had previously been registered in the name of one of the spouses can be registered as their matrimonial property. In the case of future registrations, matrimonial property shall be registered on the basis of their marriage certificate.
